About Speaker

David works with business, governments and the third sector to turn societal challenges into innovative products and services. 

As former CEO for the UK Design Council he pioneered projects with the NHS, on infection control and dementia, and with the Home Office on designing out crime.  He set up and chaired the recent Refugee Challenge for UNHCR with What Design Can Do and is currently collaborating with the Ministry of Justice on a project to reduce child exploitation and human trafficking.  

David runs the strategic design consultancy DK&A and is a Founder of the Design Thinkers Academy in London. He is a Hon. Prof at Warwick Business School and a Senior Fellow of the Royal College of Art.
