About Speaker

Ed has been Wakehurst Head of Landscape and Horticulture for RBG Kew since November 2015, curating a 535 acre botanic garden and estate. Prior to this, he was a General Manager for National Trust London, opening the organisation's first garden centre at Morden Hall Park and a new property: the HLF funded Rainham Hall in LB Havering. 

Previous roles include Head Gardener at Nymans and Assistant Head Gardener at Chelsea Physic Garden.

Ed has an BSc in Biology, MA in Garden History and RHS Master of Horticulture. He is Chair of Trustees for London Parks & Gardens Trust and work on the organising committee for Open Garden Squares Weekend.
