Kirton founded the multidisciplinary design agency Hato Studio in 2009. The agency specialises in co-design: it recently collaborated with school pupils in Liverpool to turn a double decker bus into a travelling artwork for the Liverpool Biennial and created an interactive 3D digital drawing tool ‘Start with a Mark’ for D&AD’s 2018 creative campaign.
