About Speaker

Chloë heads up Common Ground Architecture, building on the portfolio of work she has led at Brick by Brick since its conception in 2015 and the Development Directorate at Croydon Council. She has been instrumental in the realisation of the Croydon Smaller Sites Programme that recently won the Housing category at the New London Architecture Awards which included our scheme at Station Road. 

Chloë has over a decade of experience delivering high quality architecture in this role and previously within the Placemaking Team at Croydon Council and as a Project Director at award winning architectural practice Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands. Her architectural expertise is broad including exemplary schemes in the residential, work place and healthcare sectors.  Since joining the council this experience has further widened to include planning, urban design and most recently development.  The breadth of experience led to recognition as a finalist in the Architectural Journal's Emerging Women in Architecture Awards 2015 and Property Weeks inaugural 40 under 40 list.

Chloë studied Architecture at the University of Bath and the Bartlett, qualifying as an Architect in 2009. She is also Head of Design for Brick by Brick where she is responsible for ensuring design quality is realised on Brick by Brick schemes from design through to delivery.
